This role focuses on building trusted, accessible educational content that helps CyrusOne show up consistently and credibly in the public conversations surrounding digital infrastructure, power, and community development.\nWorking closely with internal subject matter experts and executives, this role translates complex infrastructure topics into compelling, platform-native storytelling designed for real audiences - not traditional marketing campaigns. This role requires capturing real-world footage across data centers, events, and community environments to power CyrusOne’s content engine.\nWhat You Will Do:\nTranslate complex infrastructure and technical topics into compelling, accessible content across explainer videos, interviews, short-form content, and long-form storytelling.\nIdentify key questions, concerns, and misconceptions among community and stakeholder audiences, and develop clear, credible content that proactively addresses them.\nOwn the strategy and execution of CyrusOne’s YouTube and short-form video channels, including content planning, programming, audience growth, distribution, and optimization.\nCapture content on location at data centers, construction sites, community events, and executive engagements, and develop footage into scalable, repeatable content formats.\nSupport the development and production of podcast and long-form interview content featuring executives, subject-matter experts, industry leaders, and policymakers, with an emphasis on repurposing content across multiple channels.\nManage paid social campaigns focused on education, awareness, and visibility, using performance insights to continuously refine content and distribution strategies.\nPartner with internal stakeholders and external creative and production agencies to bring content concepts from development through execution.\nWhat You Will Need:\n3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital media, social media, video content, or platform-based content publishing.\nStrong storytelling instincts and a genuine understanding of audience needs. You can take complex, technical, or unfamiliar topics and make them engaging, approachable, and easy to understand.\nAbility to translate technical or potentially complex topics into clear, credible content that builds understanding and confidence with diverse audiences.\nExperience developing and executing content strategies across platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, or similar channels.\nExperience with AI-enabled content and production tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Descript, Riverside, or similar platforms, to support scripting, editing, and content development. \nInterest in developing on-camera and field-production capabilities; CyrusOne will provide appropriate equipment and training.\nExperience partnering with external creative, video, or production agencies.\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.\nWillingness to travel as needed to support on-site content production, events, and other business priorities; up to 25% travel\nNice to Have:\nExperience launching, building, or growing a YouTube channel or other video-first content platform.\nExperience developing interview-driven, documentary-style, or narrative content, including podcasts or recurring video series.\nFamiliarity with B2B, technology, data center, infrastructure, energy, construction, or related industries.\nExperience using audience insights and platform analytics to inform content strategy and improve engagement.\nCyrusOne will provide company-owned camera and recording equipment to support on-site and field production needs.\n#LI-RC1\nCyrusOne is an equal opportunity employer.
