Change management and incident management are also key elements of this role. This person must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. They will work closely with the supervisor with the planning of the day to day works and provide continuity across the shifts.\nKey Responsibilities\nProficient in the complete end-to-end use of ServiceNow, Zendesk, MCIM, ProxyClick,\nand any proprietary software packages for booking work, monitoring tickets, and\ntraining engineers.\nPerform PPMs and onsite management of contractors' PPMs and service repairs on\ncritical data centre systems, along with all associated administrative duties (UPS,\nSBM, PDU, Generators, ATS, STS, Chillers, CRAH, AHU, Humidifiers, Building Controls,\netc.).\nConduct isolation, earthing, and reinstatement of critical data centre electrical and\nmechanical equipment and systems as required, following CyrusOne safety rules.\nRead, review, and amend data centre electrical/mechanical system drawings.\nControl of confined spaces where applicable.\nMonitor BMS, respond to critical and non-critical alarms while on site, perform\ndiagnostics, follow escalation procedures, coordinate repairs, and process related\nadministrative tasks.\nMonitor and perform customer requests 24x7x365 and escalate when required as per\nescalation procedure with SLA timeframe.\nManage common shift mailbox and action items in a timely manner.\nOperate and inspect critical infrastructure on site, determine systems are functioning\nas per design, and that maintenance is performed in accordance with manufacturers\nrecommendations and/or CyrusOne policy and procedure.\nWrite, Review, Dry-Run and Modify CyrusOne’s Safe system of Works to reduce Human\nError and ensure 100% uptime of the site.\nMust maintain a minimum of HVAP Status and relevant qualifications whilst in the role,\nperform switching frequently and cover out-of-hours support when business needs\ndictate.\nPerform Reactive / Remedial works as raised on ticketing system on all Critical\nEquipment and building infrastructure.\nCover shift including nights at short notice when the business requires it.\nFacilitate the management and execution of audit-related tasks pertaining to health,\nsafety, and operations.\nEnsure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks\ncarried out to ensure safe working practices. Scrutiny of sub-contractors’ RAMS,\ncompetency records, and company QHSE requirements prior to PTW/ATW and\ncustomer QHSE control procedures.\nEnsure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and ensure\ncompliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies,\nprocedures and working arrangements, as required.
