This position provides analytical, operational, and strategic support to the Development leadership team while helping ensure organizational priorities remain aligned with corporate growth objectives.\nResponsibilities\nStrategic Planning & Executive Support\nSupport the Chief Development Officer and Development leadership team in executing strategic priorities and growth initiatives.\nPrepare executive presentations, business cases, capital committee materials, board presentations, and other leadership communications.\nConduct market, financial, operational, and strategic analyses to support executive decision-making.\nAssist with annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and organizational goal-setting activities.\nSupport the development and tracking of key performance indicators, strategic objectives, and departmental priorities.\nResearch industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities relevant to the Development organization.\nDevelopment Portfolio Management\nMaintain visibility into development activities across Land Strategy, Power & Energy, Development Management, and Market Intelligence functions.\nTrack project milestones, key decisions, risks, dependencies, and development timelines.\nSupport development pipeline reporting and portfolio reviews.\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support leadership decision-making.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project visibility, reporting accuracy, and organizational effectiveness.\nCross-Functional Project Coordination\nCoordinate activities among Development, Power & Energy, Land Strategy, Investments, Finance, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Design & Construction teams.\nSupport strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of Development leadership.\nFacilitate collaboration across stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of organizational objectives.\nTrack action items, decisions, and follow-up activities arising from leadership meetings and strategic reviews.\nAssist in identifying and resolving issues that may impact project execution or organizational priorities.\nMarket Intelligence & Business Analysis\nSupport market research, competitive intelligence, and development opportunity assessments.\nAssist with evaluating potential development opportunities, including commercial, operational, power, infrastructure, and market-related considerations.\nSupport preliminary financial analysis, underwriting activities, and business case development.\nMaintain relevant reporting, databases, and market intelligence resources.\nAnalyze data and prepare recommendations to support strategic planning and investment decisions.\nOrganizational Effectiveness & Communications\nAssist in establishing and maintaining operating rhythms for the Development organization, including leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.\nDevelop executive communications, presentations, and organizational updates.\nSupport process improvement initiatives and organizational effectiveness efforts.\nHelp ensure leadership priorities, decisions, and objectives are effectively communicated and tracked throughout the organization.\nSupport change management and implementation activities associated with key strategic initiatives.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, Energy Management, Project Management, or a related field.\n3-7 years of experience in strategy, consulting, project management, infrastructure development, real estate development, finance, investments, energy, or related fields.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.\nExperience developing executive presentations, business cases, reporting packages, and strategic analyses.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to build relationships and work effectively across multiple levels of an organization.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in data centers, digital infrastructure, commercial real estate, energy, utilities, construction, or development-related industries.\nExperience supporting executive leadership teams or strategic initiatives.\nExperience within a private equity-backed or high-growth environment.\nFinancial modeling, underwriting, or investment analysis experience.\nMBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.\nWork Requirements\nTravel as required to support development activities, strategic initiatives, leadership meetings, and industry events.\nCyrusOne is an equal opportunity employer.
