development.\nResponsibilities\n Lead a 5+ member engineering team -own planning, estimation, code reviews, mentoring, and performance feedback while remaining hands-on.\nDesign and develop end-to-end GenAI applications (e.g., RAG, prompt/agent orchestration, vector search, guardrails/evals, observability) from prototype to production, ideally in a product setting.\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud applications using Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) for the backend.\nBuild responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js, ensuring a seamless user experience.\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver features on time.\nManage and optimize data storage solutions, working with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cloud SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Firestore, Datastore).\nImplement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.\nArchitect, deploy, and manage applications and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nWrite clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices.\nActively leverage and champion the use of Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, other LLM-based assistants) for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and exploring new approaches.\nParticipate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.\nTroubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring high availability and performance.\nStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fullstack development and Generative AI.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n 4+ years of professional experience in fullstack cloud application development.\nProven experience leading a team of 5 or more engineers delivering production software.\nHands-on experience designing and building production GenAI applications, ideally within a product-based company.\nStrong proficiency in Python for backend development (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).\nExpertise in React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, Hooks, etc.).\nSolid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).\nProficiency with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cloud SQL) and experience with database design, querying, and optimization.\nExperience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Firestore, Datastore) and understanding of their use cases.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes (especially GKE).\nDemonstrated experience or strong familiarity with Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar AI code assistants, and ability to articulate how these tools enhance development workflows.\nExperience with security, observability, and cost/performance tuning for LLM workloads.\nUnderstanding of software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration,
