We bring integrity, sound judgment, and exceptional service to every client and colleague relationship.\nAs Director of Private Wealth, you will lead advanced planning and business development efforts that help Financial Advisors serve ultra-high-net-worth clients, deepen relationships, and turn sophisticated strategies into measurable growth and new assets.\nPrimary Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in wealth, estate, or tax planning, financial services, or a related field.\nProven leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and advance strategic initiatives.\nStrong business development experience, including advisor consultation, client meetings, public speaking, content development, and opportunity cultivation.\nJuris Doctor, CPA, CTFA, or CFP® designation strongly preferred.\nSeries 7 and 66, or Series 7, 63, and 65, required within the first four months of employment.\nDeep expertise in estate, tax-efficient, philanthropic, asset protection, wealth transfer, and other advanced strategies for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.\nLife, Health, and Long-Term Care insurance licenses preferred; equivalent expertise in wealth and asset protection strategies may be considered.\nExpertise with eMoney and familiarity with other financial planning platforms and technology.\nStrong knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and its application to complex planning scenarios.\nExcellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and project management skills across business divisions and leadership teams.\nAbility to travel across the Davidson branch footprint, sometimes on short notice.\nPrimary Duties:\nIdentify and cultivate UHNW opportunities through advisor partnerships, client engagement, centers of influence, and targeted business development.\nLead strategic planning and business development for Davidson Private Wealth, strengthening advisor engagement through consultation, education, and field partnership.\nCreate and deliver advisor and client programs, events, and resources that translate advanced planning into practical field execution.\nBuild differentiated Private Wealth capabilities, planning resources, and client deliverables that address complex needs and strengthen the firm’s value proposition.\nMaintain leading-edge expertise in tax, estate, wealth transfer, philanthropic, and advanced planning strategies.\nWhat we offer:\nCompetitive salary plus excellent benefits and perks including, but not limited to:\nMedical, Dental and Vision\nCompany 401(k)and ESOP contribution\nGenerous sick, vacation, and maternity/parental leave\nPaid holidays\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nTuition Reimbursement ($15,000 lifetime cap)\nCharitable gift-matching program\nDavidson Day of Giving - Our tradition of positively impacting communities in which we live and work.\nThe potential base pay hiring range for this role is $190,000 - $245,000.
