The Systems Administrator serves as a technical resource for assigned platforms and contributes to operational support, automation, system design, project delivery, system availability, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and certifications\nDemonstrated experience supporting and administering computer systems in a business or enterprise environment\nWorking knowledge of scripting and automation, backup and disaster recovery, virtualization, endpoint management, and systems monitoring\nHands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, and VMware virtualization or comparable enterprise technologies\nAbility to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and operational issues using sound analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to design, document, diagram, implement, and maintain system designs, standards, procedures, and technical configurations\nStrong oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent customer service\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, lead assigned initiatives, and provide technical guidance to other staff\nRelevant Microsoft Azure and VMware certifications are preferred. Advanced certifications may be required based on assigned responsibilities.\nAbility to safely lift and carry as much as 50 pounds when required\nAbility to travel as needed\nAbility to maintain regular, predictable attendance and pass required background checks\nDuties:\nAdminister, support, manage, monitor, maintain, and improve computer systems, infrastructure, enterprise applications, operating systems, and related hardware\nProvide technical ownership and subject matter expertise for assigned platforms, systems, technologies, and services\nInvestigate and resolve escalated tickets, complex operational issues, outages, and major incidents, escalating or coordinating resources as appropriate based on severity\nProactively and reactively maintain appropriate levels of system availability, security, capacity, and performance\nDesign, implement, maintain, test, and improve backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and availability solutions\nIdentify, develop, and implement scripting, automation, and monitoring improvements that reduce manual effort and operational risk\nParticipate in or lead long-term projects, strategic initiatives, system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle activities\nContribute to system design decisions, technical standards, technology roadmaps, and operational practices for assigned technologies\nCreate and maintain accurate technical documentation, system design diagrams, support procedures, standards, and knowledge articles\nReview, follow, and update D.A.
