We are looking for an experienced system engineer to participate and lead the development of a cellular-based drone detection and mitigation system as part of the company products.\nThe system engineer position requires the combination of several elements:\nLead features and platforms from ideas to releases.\nSystem architecture & design - Architect robust, distributed network monitoring systems capable of handling massive scale, high throughput, and the continuous ingestion of telecommunications data.\nCommunicate directly with Tier-1 telecommunications carriers to design, deploy, and integrate scalable monitoring solutions seamlessly into their live, complex operational environments.\nDirect and mentor a research and development group (back-end, front-end, researchers, dev-ops).\nOversee end-to-end project execution, planning and managing resources.\nCore network expertise - Deep understanding of LTE and 5G Core network topologies\nAnalyze and define complex system behaviors, state machines, algorithms, and event-response logic\nPerform independent, hands-on debugging and optimization for system problem-solving.\nGain a deep understanding of the system to guide and support development, testing and validation teams.\nRequirements:\nB.Sc/M.Sc degree in Computer Science or similar background from a recognized university.\nA minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and familiarity with LTE and 5G Core network architectures and network monitoring paradigms.\nDemonstrated history of working directly with or for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs/carriers)\nHands-on experience in a scripting language, like Python or JavaScript.\nTeam player with excellent communication skills, ability to lead tasks within the company and the desire to take on diverse challenges.\nDeep, working knowledge of 5G and LTE protocols, with an understanding of how to trace, parse, and analyze these protocols across network interfaces.\nProven track record in system design and architecture specifically for complex, large-scale, distributed software systems and Big Data platforms.\nDemonstrated experience successfully leading, scaling, and managing software or systems development groups.\nAdvantage: Strong analytical foundation with expertise in developing algorithms for massive data processing.
