This role focuses on core Accounts Payable responsibilities, with exposure to Treasury operations, supporting daily payment execution and operational purchasing across the organization.\nYou will support full-cycle payables processing under the guidance of senior team members, while also assisting with treasury activities including payment runs, cash forecasting inputs, and bank reconciliations. This position plays an important role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.\nThe ideal candidate brings solid accounting fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn. You are comfortable with high-volume transactional work and motivated to grow your understanding of process enhancements, controls, and financial systems.\nWhat you'll do\nSupport the full-cycle accounts payable process, including processing high-volume, multi-currency invoices with 2-way and 3-way matching.\nEnsure accurate proper cost center allocation, and compliance with internal controls and approval policies.\nSupport non-engineering purchasing activities, including PO setup, vendor onboarding, and invoice-to-PO alignment.\nHelp resolve invoice discrepancies, approval bottlenecks, and vendor inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.\nMaintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with tax and documentation requirements (e.g., W-8/W-9).\nPerform vendor reconciliations and investigate aging items to ensure timely resolution.\nAssist with weekly payment runs (EFT, ACH, wire, cheque), ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and alignment with company cash flow considerations.\nSupport sales tax (GST/PST) and 1099/T4 filings as applicable.\nAssist with the preparation of domestic and international wire payments in coordination with approval matrices and internal controls.\nAssist with daily cash positioning and provide inputs into short-term cash forecasting.\nSupport bank account administration, including user access management and documentation.\nFollow and help maintain payment controls to mitigate fraud and operational risk.\nAssist with intercompany funding transactions and multi-entity cash settlements.\nSupport audit requests related to AP and treasury processes.\nHelp identify opportunities to streamline and automate AP and treasury workflows.\nMaintain dashboards/reports tracking key metrics such as Aging Reports, Days Payable Outstanding, payment cycle times, and cash movement summaries.\nAbout You\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (or equivalent experience)\n1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, or a related finance function; co-op and internship experience will be considered.\nWorking knowledge of payment processing, cash management, and internal control environments.\nExposure to multi-entity and multi-currency environments is an asset.\nExposure to ERP systems (NetSuite an asset) and procurement/payment platforms (Airbase or similar).\nFamiliarity with online banking platforms and treasury management processes is an asset.\nIntermediate Excel skills (formulas, basic pivot tables, lookups); familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset.\nFoundational understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS is an asset.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support vendor relationships.\nHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills.\nA continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to grow with a scaling organization.\nA D-Waver's DNA\nWe look at the future and say “why not”; we see possibilities where others see problems or routines.
