Working alongside the Corporate Sales team, you'llhelp D2L prospects and clients by learning about their unique needs and proposing D2L products and services as the solution to meet those needs. Your passion for teaching and learning makes people want to open upto you, and your expertisein learning technology and how to accomplishnearly anythingusing the D2L platform makes you a trusted advisor. You'reexcited to speak to everyone from corporate learners and instructional designers,to a CIO or CEO, and your demos and presentations provoke gasps of amazement, if not outright applause. \nHow You'll Make an Impact:\nBecome a hands-on expert inthe Brightspace platform. You won’tjust need theoretical knowledge of how things work, but you will be expected to try things out and make sure they work in practice. You will need to getcreative and sometimes approach and re-approach a solution until you find the right fit. \nSupport the sales process by becoming an expert in D2L products and services, including functionality, usage, architecture, and deployment. \nPrepare and present persuasive and expertly tailored product demonstrations before a wide variety of audiences and under challenging circumstances. Audiences could be new or seasonedusers, executives at a conference table, or HR and L&D professionals piled into stadium seating. Needs could be vague or extremely unique, and timelines to prepare can vary. \nBuild compelling, value-oriented presentations while partnering with your sales team to prepfor such presentations. \nConduct needs analysis sessions with prospects to understand their infrastructure, needsand potential customizations they may require. \nProvide feedback to product management teams regardinguse cases and trends in the field. \nCreate technical documentation and materials as requiredfor your prospects. \nBe the conduitthrough which internal SMEs are contacted and engaged intosales opportunities. \nEngaging in proposal writing - review client requirements, identifyoptimalproduct mix, address gaps and assessingcompetitive alignment, and culminatingin the creation of clear, concise responses. \nTravel 25-50% of the time to attend sales presentations, meetings, and conferences as required, and work various hours across North America from PST to EST. \nWhat You'll Bring to the Role: \n3-5 years experiencein pre-sales, solutions consultingor a related role such as teaching, training, instructional design, or sales consulting.\nProfessional proficiency in French is preferred, though not mandatory\nAcumen with Artificial Intelligence tools.\nTechnical understanding of enterprise software, web, and database technology \nDemonstrated ability to understand complex business challenges and apply creativity and problem-solving to meet client needs \nA deep interest in education and educational technology as well as comfort with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning platforms that might integrate with the LMS \nPolished presentation skills and comfortable with presenting complex education and technology concepts to a variety of stakeholders \nHighly engaging in person and virtually \nExcellent writing and comprehension skills - prior experience responding to RFP's is an asset \nExperience meeting multiple objectivesin an entrepreneurial and remote environment with minimal supervision. \nAbility to travel 25-50% and be willing to work various hours across North America from PST to EST.\nThis position is to fill an existing vacancy.\nThe expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry.
