He/she builds the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline and prioritizes development items in the pipeline. He develops Proof-of-Concepts to evaluate the feasibility of the software application and tools for the development team and develops suitable applications and tools. He determines specifications and features for the next iteration of software application development based on user needs and feedback, continuously integrates code changes, and conducts automated testing to ensure the software application remains functional. He also performs continuous deployment through automating the deployment process and manages the releases of software application versions and features.\nHe/she works with internal business partners to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implement and/or update solutions, build, and execute test plans, perform quality reviews, manage operations, and triage and fix operational issues. He/she works in a fast-paced environment and must be able to adjust to constant business change, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies. He/she is proficient in programming languages required by the organization and is familiar with continuous integration and deployment tools, relevant platforms, automated testing tools, and configuration management tools. He is also knowledgeable of crypto primitives, authentication protocols, and authorization standards.\nDetermine software application and feature enhancement requirements based on business needs and user feedback\nGather, analyze, and document client needs and business requirements\nFormulate solutions, alternatives, and design specifications that support business and technical objectives\nAnalyse client operations to understand strengths and weaknesses to uncover opportunities for improvement\nTranslate business and technical requirements to test cases, test scenarios, and scripts\nBuild IT solutions to meet business requirements and develop reusable components\nDevelop program codes and logic for existing and/or new software applications and tools\nDevelop requirements, methods, and procedures for routine maintenance\nPerform security vulnerability and relevant automated testing to ensure the software application remains functional\nDeploy new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment\nEvaluate existing applications and platforms and propose recommendations for improving performance by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications\nDocument and complete knowledge transfer to production support\nDelivers tasks and designs effective solutions to product features or small-scope engineering challenges in their area of the business/product.\nAble to identify and address existing gaps in the observability and monitoring of systems and independently manage escalations for their squad, or discipline.\nrelied upon to be a trusted problem solver, capable of leading the resolution of critical bugs or incidents related to their work or area of expertise.\nPerform any other duties assigned to by line manager related to the nature of the work\nEnforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations.\n Preferred Qualifications\nA tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution\nYears & Nature of Experience\n3+ years of equivalent experience in DevOps\nAn experienced professional who can deliver on difficult technical tasks\nSelf-sufficient at work and could be given small project responsibility\nHas provided technical supervision to junior staff in the past\nBasic understanding of business and operating
