timelines and deliverables\nGuiding and mentoring teams of developers\nInterfacing with stakeholders to understand business requirements\nReviewing codes to ensure quality and adherence to standards\nDriving innovation and staying updated with the latest industry trends\nContributing to strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of software products\nPerform any other duties assigned to by line manager related to the nature of the work.\nEnforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security (EIS) policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence, and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations.\n Preferred Qualifications\nA tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution \nYears & Nature of Experience\nRecommended 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience where required competencies and experience have been demonstrated in a Software Developer, working mainly in Java technologies\nWorking Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL beyond simple queries\nWorking on a full software development life cycle environment under Agile methodologies, capable of taking the lead on software design and implementation best practices (Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Control policies, among others)\nA specialist individual contributor or a team lead who has managed and delivered projects\nHas team or technical supervision skills\nDemonstrated expertise and experience with complex
