Ability to communicate technical directions, both in person and over the phone.\nExcellent customer service skills. Ability to work successfully with a variety of personalities and various management levels.\nFamiliar with department policies, processes and procedures.\nConsistently treat others with respect and maintain professional attitude and behavior.\nAbility to work a variety of shifts.\nAbility to safely lift and carry as much as 35 pounds.\nExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.\nSelf-motivated and self-directed.\nOrganized and detail oriented.\nFollow policies and procedures. Davidson’s data and voice networks which may include but is not limited to patching, testing, installing, upgrading, providing end user training, monitoring network performance, working with vendor support and sales.\nCreating documentation for end users and IT staff.\nInstall and support company VoIP solutions\nInstall and support phone systems deployed across the enterprise\nManage IT incidents and ticket management\nTroubleshoot various networking issues\nLearn and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Attend scheduled meetings or training sessions around existing or new policies and/or procedures. Recommend changes to IT procedures to improve productivity and/or reduce costs. Participate in policy or procedure meetings. Review and update specific policies considered an area of expertise.\nAttend internal and external meetings as requested to provide expertise. Train end users and receive network training as directed. Assist with projects as needed.\nAssist in attaining performance goals set by management such as but not limited to maintaining uptime, generating reports, and assisting with resolution of support issues.\nAssist with and/or assume responsibility for the completion of project tasks, as directed. Participate in project management meetings around areas of expertise. May be required to lead projects or assume significant project management roles.\nEnsure work on tasks and special projects are completed within budget limits. Assist with tasks to prepare annual budget and budgeting for special projects. Review and potentially prepare drafts of portion of the IT budget relating to areas of administration as directed by management.\nKeep current with new data networking and IT solutions. Maintain technical certifications relevant to work responsibilities. Receive additional training as directed.
