As part of Daher’s global Industry Division, the Stuart operation emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous improvement while supporting aerospace production and investing in workforce development, technology, and long-term growth in the North American aerospace market.\nHuman Resources Manager - Stuart\nThis role will be critical in supporting Daher’s Industry division client site in Stuart, Florida. You will be the HR Manager and work directly with the Site leadership to develop a local people strategy for the site. This role will report to the global HR leader for the Industry Division and the HR leader for North America. \nIf you are looking for an opportunity to work independently for a global organization where you have the ability to influence change, this role is for you.\nJOB SUMMARY\nImplement human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations. Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records. Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organization’s HR practices to those prevailing in the market.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nImplement Group’s HR policy for the Stuart site.\nWork with Site Manager and HR Leadership to develop various HR metrics for effective benchmarking, research, and forecasting.\nWork as a strategic business partner with plant leadership, evaluate the state of human resources in the plant, identify opportunities for improvement and develop & execute a strategic vision for the HR function in the plant focused on aligning HR strategies with the achievement of both functional and plant key performance objectives.\nManage recruiting and staffing logistics once position has been substantiated and hiring requisition has been approved.\nEnsure recruiting is pursued in a way that complies with applicable laws and Daher’s values.\nPerform audits of programs, recordkeeping standards, and other employment practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.\nAssist in recordkeeping requirements related to safety, wellness, and health reporting.\nParticipate in employee orientation and separation as needed.\nParticipate in the Social responsibility group deployment at the site level.\nPartner with Site Manager to increase employee engagement through various programs / actions (employee surveys, events, speak up culture, etc.).\nDeploy the Group HR processes and policies on site.\nServe as the primary onsite point of contact for labor union representatives to address grievances, clarify contract language, support CBA negotiation and maintain open lines of communication.\nManage all employee relations in accordance with Daher policy.\nCommunicate with customer regarding HR and security protocols.\nAct as a business partner to all senior managers on site with respect to all HR matters.\nManages the Site’s HR operations KPI’s.\nEnsure proper flow of information to support payroll production, follow up of PTO, and benefits roll out.\nManages the site HR budget and keep it under control.\nManages the HR performance review cycle (appraisals, objectives setting, training/development plans, people review, succession planning, …).\nManages the annual salary increases and bonus payments.\nSupport VP HR, North America on region wide initiatives as needed.\nRequired Education and experience\nMinimum 10 years HR experience working with a non-exempt workforce\nMinimum 8 years in an HR leadership role\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field of study\nExperience managing a team including team development\nKnowledge of payroll system operations and reporting functions (Workday and UKG)\nExperience with employee relations and conducting employee investigations in a confidential and timely manner\nExperience managing the full life cycle for recruiting, preferably in a warehouse / distribution environment\nExperience developing programs, policies and practices to maintain the company’s compliance with all local employment laws\nMust have excellent Word and Excel skills.\nPreferred experience\nExperience with Workday and UKG a plus.\nExperience in a unionized environment\nHR Certification - SHRM\nExperience with conducting an HR Audit for compliance purposes\nExperience with process improvement\nRecent experience working in a global organization\nExperience in the Aerospace industry\nInformation related to the position:\nSalary range for this position: $120,000-$135,000, plus an annual target bonus (Applies to US-Based candidates only).\nAt Daher, our compensation philosophy is anchored to the local labor market and cost of living.
