As a growing aerospace operation, the Stuart FAL offers employees the opportunity to help launch and develop a new aircraft production capability while contributing to continuous improvement, advanced manufacturing, and the future growth of Daher Aircraft\nJob Description\nDaher is seeking to hire a Liaison Engineer (Manufacturing Engineer) to join our new TBM Final Assembly Line in Stuart, Florida. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, methods, tooling and assembly procedures for the FAL. This role works closely with Production, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure aircraft are manufactured in accordance with approved Engineering Specifications, Aviation regulations, Quality Standards, and production schedules. Maintaining a very close collaboration/coordination with the TBM Master Team in Tarbes, France is essential.\nPLEASE READ: You must be able to complete 8 weeks of hands-on training in Tarbes, France at our TBM Assembly Line Facility. This will allow you to learn Daher’s quality standards while focusing on learning the TBM assembly process side by side with the current team.\nPrimary Role and Responsibilities:\nCollaborate/Coordinate/Communicate closely with TBM Master Team in all processes and procedures related to Stuart FAL\nDevelop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft structural assembly, component installation, drilling, fastening, riveting, sealing, bonding and system integration, as applicable\nPrepare, maintain, manufacturing plans, assembly instructions, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\nEstablish production sequences, assembly methods, tooling requirements, labor estimates and workstation layouts\nProvide hands-on engineering support to production personnel to resolve assembly difficulties, tooling issues, and manufacturing defects.\nInvestigate root causes of production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions\nApply continuous improvement methodologies to improve production performance\nCoordinate equipment installation, qualification, calibration requirements and preventive maintenance with appropriate departments\nSupport compliance with applicable regulatory bodies, Quality Management requirements and other relevant aerospace standards\nMaintain process documentation, traceability, revision control and manufacturing records\nIncorporates inspection and testing requirements into production plans, as needed.\nDevelops manufacturing processes and techniques that support statistical process control.\nProvides guidance to Engineering on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize the use of equipment and manufacturing techniques.\nMinimum Qualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nUp to one year of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.\nProficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong planning, organization, and time-management skills.\nInformation related to the position:\nSalary range for this position start at $90,000 plus an annual target bonus (Applies to US-Based candidates only).\nAt Daher, our compensation philosophy is anchored to the local labor market and cost of living.
