Upon successful completion you will transition into full-time production work.\n\nWhy Join Daher?\nDynamic Environment: A supportive workplace focused on learning and growth.\nCareer Progression: Contribute to the creation of world-class aerospace products.\nTeam Culture: Work alongside motivated, collaborative professionals.\nWhat You’ll Learn To Do As A Trainee\nInstall, modify, and maintain aircraft sheet metal and composite components\nFabricate, assemble, and rework structural parts\nUse precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards\nPerform inspections and maintain accurate documentation\nRead and work from engineering drawings and production specifications\nWhat You Need\nQualifications\n1-3 years of aviation sheet metal or structural mechanic experience \nMust be able to demonstrate proven competency in structural repairs and sheet metal techniques\nPass skills assessments which may include hands on plate testing\n Experience can include coursework and/or program completion from Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved and/or accredited aviation maintenance training programs\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nFluent in English - ability to read, write, and communicate effectively\nAble to work 1st and/or 2nd shift upon completion of training\nWilling and able to work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to regularly lift/move up to 30 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.\nMust be able to work on concrete floors, uneven surfaces, and within confined spaces. Requires the ability to navigate open floor beams, climb stairs and scaffolding, kneel or crawl in work areas, and lift, carry, and move parts, materials, and tools as needed.\nPosition requires prolonged performance of drilling, bucking, and riveting activities throughout the entire shift, with additional overtime as required to meet production demands.\nRequires frequent walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and sitting during the course of daily work activities.\nRequires repetitive use of the hands, wrists, and arms while performing job-related tasks.\nMust be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the work shift.\nMust possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and have sufficient hearing capability to understand instructions, safety alerts, and workplace communications.\n\nInformation related to the position:\nThe compensation for this position is $24.00 per hour.
