accountability for engineering and construction assignments involving tens of thousands of man-hours.\n\nPosition Overview\nWe are recruiting an Offshore Pipeline Engineer for a contract role based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform design and engineering calculations for pipeline wall thickness, on-bottom stability, and mechanical strength to withstand high-pressure service and ocean current forces.\n\nIdentify and map safe seabed routes using survey data, avoiding natural hazards such as rock formations and active shipping lanes.\n\nDevelop technical installation procedures for laying pipelines from specialized vessels, including S-lay and J-lay barge configurations.\n\nEnsure all engineering work complies with international standards, including DNV, API, and ISO.\n\nOversee pre-commissioning activities such as hydrotesting, pipeline cleaning, and ongoing corrosion monitoring.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\nA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or Offshore Engineering.\n\n4 to 12+ years of experience working on subsea or marine pipeline projects.\n\nProficiency in design and stress analysis software, including OrcaFlex, OFFPIPE, or Caesar II.\n\nStrong knowledge of international codes (DNV-ST-F101, ASME, API) and offshore construction methods.\n\nApplication Closing Date\n31st August
