The Accounting Manager will plan and direct accounting activities within a finance department or division of an organization by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid\nYour Responsibilities:\nProvide direction and leadership in the management of accounting practices.\n\nOversee the maintenance of the company's general ledgers.\n\nAssist in managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\n\nOversee journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.\n\nDevelop policies and procedures to support the organization’s accounting policies.\n\nInteract with outside auditors and participate in occasional auditing projects or provide information and access to general ledger and other accounting records as required.\n\nManage employees by establishing, reviewing, and providing feedback regarding annual performance goals.\n\nDevelop and determine priorities and monitor status of special projects on an ongoing basis.\n\nIdentify inefficiencies and implement process improvements (e.g., automation) for faster, more accurate financial reporting.\n\nYour Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting\n\n8+ years of Accounting experience\n\n4+ years of people leadership experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCPA\n\nManufacturing experience\n\nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance\n\n401K retirement plan with employer match\n\nPaid time off and company-paid holidays\n\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\n\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\n\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$153,300 + 10% bonus in Minnesota.
