Complete company provided wiring training and achieve certification \nTrain new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production \nResponsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area \nFollow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements. \nIdentify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards \nRead and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements \nAbility to use hand tools \nOperate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License \nObtain Certification in leak testing and vacuum and charge \nAll other duties as assigned \nYour Qualifications:\nThe ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.\nThe ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.\nThe ability to read and understand written English.\nHigh School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment. \nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple Medical insurance plan options + Dental and Vision insurance \nCompany provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage \nShort term disability and optional employee paid voluntary long-term disability \n401K retirement plan with employer match \n40 hours paid time off for new employees, prorated based on start date \n88 hours company paid holidays \n48 hours of paid sick and safe time, prorated based on start date \nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
