You will collaborate with discipline leaders (Design Engineers, Programming, Field Engineering) and your team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to specification. This position demands a strategic visionary leader with practical experience to orchestrate the design and implementation of building automation control systems, surpassing the expectations of end-users.\nResponsibilities:\nLead a team of Systems Integrators using various manufactures of DDC/PLC style controllers to form a reliable building automation network\n\nLead the department to create Tridium/Niagara based, accurate graphic interfaces for building operators\n\nManage the library of graphical floor plans, unit schematics, and graphical schedules for building operations\n\nAssist other disciplines in implementing design intent\n\nOversee day-to-day operations to uphold technical competency and ensure quality control\n\nServe as a key resource and advisor to evaluate employee effectiveness, development and engagement\n\nEnsure all controls systems comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations\n\nStay updated on the latest advancements in HVAC controls technologies and industry best practices\n\nFoster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.\n\nAll other duties assigned\n\nQualifications + Knowledge Skills & Abilities:\nB.S. Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineering or a related field\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical solutions that exceed client expectations\n\nExcellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders\n\nLeadership & management skills to motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment\n\nWorking knowledge using Microsoft 365 suite + Visio + Bluebeam + Niagara Workbench\n\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 - $180,000 in Illinois. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
