At Thermosystems, you will be encouraged to grow, apply what you know, and see the impact of your hard work.\nIf you want to learn more about Thermosystems, visit us at www.thermohvac.com today!\nLocation: Elmhurst, IL\nResponsibilities:\nSupervise and support Credit Specialists, ensuring efficient execution of credit, collections, and account management activities.\nProcess credit applications for new customers which includes credit checks and running a credit safe report to determine credit worthiness.\nEstablish and maintain accurate customer account records by entering new customers into company database and ensuring all required documentation is completed and up to date.\nConduct credit reviews and authorize new projects by assessing customer financial stability, payment history, and overall risk exposer.\nAdminister, review, and approve lien waivers, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and mitigating financial risk.\nManage and administer lien filing and bond claims to protect the company’s finical interests and ensure compliance with applicable legal and contractual requirements.\nManage the collection of outstanding customer balances, including warranty-related receivables, to ensure timely payment and maintain healthy cash flow.\nCommunicates with internal and external individuals on a regular basis regarding credit and collection questions, issues, or concerns.\nMaintain and manage the customer credit hold list, communicating account status updates and credit decisions to internal stakeholders to support informed business decisions.\nAll other duties assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in an accounting related degree is required. \n10+ years of experience in the accounting field.\nMust have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAttention to detail.\nAbility to communicate clearly and have strong communication skills.\nTeam player and willing to help others.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nSelf-motivated and can work independently.\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $115,00 in IL. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
