Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Huntsville, AL - Onsite\nYour Responsibilities:\nAdminister safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting\nSupports sales through involvement in job quotation and estimation\nApprove estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material content, assess profit risk of jobs, control material and labor costs, and provide feedback to the District Manager\nEstablish project timelines and meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedule.\nManage projects, assign personnel, oversee ordering of equipment and material, and assure that proper customer signoffs are secured per corporate policy requirements\nOversee quotation of call-in work, transactional sales (not requiring SSR skills), and assign personnel as needed to ensure that quotes are delivered to customers on a timely basis\nProvide consistent interface with current customer base and establishes effective working relationships in order to identify additional selling opportunities\nEnsure that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled and inspections completed on time while providing input to Service Coordinators on scheduling activity of technicians\nSupport the district under direction of District Manager\nWork with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accounts\nManage Tech Tip program and lead customer care initiatives\nWork with Account Managers and District Manager in order to resolve customer issues, including customer visits\nProvide weekly job status, revenue, and warranty recovery report to DM\nYour Qualifications:\nBachelors degree or equivalent work experience\n6+ years of related work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or related field\n8+ years of strategic leadership of an industrial HVAC business unit (Preferred)\n4+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role required\nExtensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy saving solutions\nDemonstrated success in strategically leading business units\nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nNon-logoed company vehicle with most expenses paid\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance \n401K retirement plan with employer match\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service \nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position\nThis position may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's education, experience, and demonstrated competencies.\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 to $153,300 plus a targeted incentive plan in Alabama.
