Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Vandalia, OH - In office\nYour Responsibilities:\nConduct regular safety and environmental inspections, audits, and assessments of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities. \nLead and support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, programs, and training initiatives.\nMaintain and oversee chemical management documentation, environmental permitting support activities, and new equipment/process approval reviews.\nAnalyze EHS data, trends, metrics, and incident statistics to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.\nPrepare and present EHS reports, compliance updates, KPI trends, and presentations for site and corporate leadership.\nLead or facilitate EHS committees, employee engagement teams, and site initiatives focused on injury prevention and environmental performance.\nMaintain and improve Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) documentation, processes, and compliance activities.\nConduct and coordinate EHS training programs including new employee orientation, regulatory training, emergency response, and safe work practices.\nLead or support investigations involving incidents, near misses, environmental releases, and severe injuries; conduct root cause analysis and track corrective actions through completion.\nConduct risk assessments, JSAs, and hazard evaluations to identify and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.\nSupport environmental compliance activities including stormwater sampling, waste management practices, emissions tracking, and environmental recordkeeping.\nProvide technical EHS guidance and support for site projects, operational changes, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nMonitor contractor and vendor compliance with applicable EHS requirements and company standards.\nAssist with regulatory inspections, audits, and responses from OSHA, EPA, and other governing agencies.\nMentor and provide guidance to less experienced EHS team members and assist in developing site EHS capabilities.\nYour Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field\n4-6+ years of related experience \nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance \n401K retirement plan with employer match\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300.00 - 120,700.00 in OH.
