The position receives work order requests for facilities maintenance from employees, ensures work is performed in a timely manner, and triages requests to prioritize the most critical repairs.\nCome be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Onsite, Plymouth, MN\nWhat you will do:\nComply with Company safety procedures at all times\n\nSupport laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard\n\nRespond to and troubleshoot maintenance requests involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement\n\nPerform all scheduled maintenance as established in x5 (Daikin’s CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)), and provides input into new maintenance schedules as equipment/facilities are added or changed\n\nEnsure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times\n\nImplement corrective and preventative actions to reduce costs and improve reliability\n\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and repair test rooms, test cells and facilities\n\nMaintain chillers\n\nDirect and work alongside contractors, as needed\n\nSubmit purchase order requisitions for parts\n\nEnsure facilities comply with all environmental policies and procedures\n\nAssist in activities related to internal and external environmental audits\n\nRespond to emergencies and support after-hours facility needs and activities as required\n\nDemonstrate excellent customer service skills\n\nObtain powered industrial truck certified training within a year\n\nMaintain effective communications across all departments\n\nMonitor and operate the Daikin Building Management System (BMS)\n\nUtilize x5 for work order and PM (Preventative Maintenance) management\n\nAssist and perform other work as assigned to support facilities activities\n\nMaintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner\n\nWhat’s in it for you:\nThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth\n\nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTwo-year associate degree in HVAC maintenance-related subject matter (e.g., HVAC/R Certified Technician)\n\nUniversal refrigerant certification (EPA 608)\n\n7+ years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification\n\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position\n\nBenefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\n\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance\n\n401K retirement plan with employer match\n\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\n\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\n\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\n\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $31.74/hr - $50.77/hr in Minnesota.
