Come be part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid - In office 3 days per week\nYour Responsibilities:\nAct as Human Resources Business Partner the Digital and Corporate Development & Strategy teams\n\nIdentify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance\n\nPartners with Talent Acquisition team to support the hiring life cycle, including interviewing candidates, to fill open roles\n\nProvides advisement to management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and ensures adherence to various state and federal regulations\n\nRespond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs\n\nProvide assistance and training to management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, performance management, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and other government requirements.\n\nIdentify employee-focused location training needs and implements training programs\n\nAdminister performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization\n\nAdminister merit, promotional, and other salary adjustments to ensure compliance and equity within the organization, as well as monitor compa-ratios within the organization\n\nCoordinate administration of Workers’ Compensation program, works closely with Safety personnel and the Workers’ Compensation carrier to manage claims and actively supports location safety program\n\nPrepare budget for human resources department and monitors spending accordingly\n\nRepresent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations\n\nAnalyze collective bargaining agreement and develop interpretation of intent, spirit, and terms of contract to counsel management in development and application of labor relations policies and practices\n\nPrepare statistical reports of types and frequency of actions taken concerning grievances, arbitration, mediation, and related labor relations activities, to identify problem areas\n\nVerify adherence to terms of labor contract by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditions\n\nRepresent management in labor contract negotiations or serves as resource to negotiators by providing information on provisions of current contract and significance of proposed changes\n\nFurnish reference documents and statistical data concerning labor legislation, labor market conditions, prevailing union and management practices, wage and salary surveys, and employee benefits programs for labor contract negotiations\n\nRequired qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\n\n6+ years related experience and/or training\n\nProficient in Microsoft Suite\n\nAbility to form strong relationships with business leaders\n\nAdaptability and problem-solving skills\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nPHR or SHRM Certification\n\nExperience supporting Human Resources and/or Legal teams\n\nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance\n\n401K retirement plan with employer match\n\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\n\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\n\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\n\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 to $171,700 in Minnesota and is eligible for an annual bonus. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
