This role will require intermediate to advanced independent diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of CATI (Chillers) and CATII (Non-Chiller) equipment.\nWhat's in it for you:\nFactory Certified Training, Refrigeration Certification or other professional on the job training in the HVAC Industry.\nThe opportunity to work on all types of commercial equipment and cutting-edge technologies such as Intelligent Equipment, Magnetic Bearing Technology and VRV|VRF Technology.\nThermosystems provides technicians with vans, laptops, mobile devices, and other technologies.\nWhat you will do:\nPerform maintenance of all HVAC & applied equipment and on-site start-up procedures.\nRepair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Perform intermediate to advanced independent diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of equipment.\nConduct warranty service application by independently inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality for equipment.\nVerify functionality of new equipment. Educate customers on proper use of equipment, maintenance schedule, and operating manual.\nProblem-solve issues using reasoning and logic.\nCommunicate with individuals who installed the system.\nProgram new control systems using touchscreens and computers.\nAssist the owner's representatives to demonstrate that the system has been set up properly.\nDocument actions taken on the jobsite to be included with project report.\nDirect discussions with building owners to assist with ongoing maintenance and service.\nPrepare wiring diagrams.\nWear personal protective equipment when completing service tasks.\nComplete jobsite hazard assessment prior to initiating service and adhere to safety policies and OSHA guidelines.\nDemonstrate professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication. Interact with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call. Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.\nCommunicate potential sales opportunities to the sales staff through the quote process.\nRecord and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, product quality reports (PQR), and articles as required.\nBasic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs. Download programs into equipment and micro controllers.
