Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Staunton, VA - In-Office\nShift: 2nd shift\nYour Responsibilities:\nMonitor production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules\nAssist in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirements\nAssure safety and product quality while improving production procedures\nCoordinate workflow with the various departments involved\nReport damaged and defective equipment to management\nTrain other employees in day-to-day procedures\nMaintain quality/quantity standards regarding output\nAnalyze work orders to estimate working hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs\nInterpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties\nPlan the flow of materials through department according to work orders\nInterface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met\nInspect and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications\nDirect workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards\nEstablish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules\nDevelop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product\nSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew\nAnalyze and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems\nMaintain time and production records\nAssist with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times\nOther duties as assigned\nYour Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n5+ years of related experience\nBachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)\n3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred)\nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance \n401K retirement plan with employer match\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service \nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing.
