Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\n\nLocation: New York City\nYour Responsibilities:\nSupport project development of new controls opportunities partnering with the sales team within the New York territory.\nReview bid documents to define a scope of controls work, identify the optimal Daikin solution, develop a bill of material, and labor estimates.\nPrepare technical submittals for review and approval, including wiring diagrams and control panel layouts.\nSupport controls basis-of-design development in collaboration with the sales team.\nCoordinate with sales and operations teams, internal stakeholders, and external customers to align project requirements and support a smooth handoff from sales to execution.\nProvide prompt and accurate support for sales representative inquiries related tocontrols and building automation systems , and pricing.\nStay informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace.\nParticipate in product training for sales representatives and customers.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested. \nYour Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, a STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.\nMinimum 2+ years of controls, or BMS, experience in a technical, engineering, applications support, or similar role preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge and training to support customer, sales, or product-related initiatives.\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nBenefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements\nMultiple Medical insurance plan options + Dental and Vision insurance\n401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% an employee contributes and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions\nCompany provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage\nShort term and long-term disability\n120 hours (3 weeks) Paid Time Off for new employees + 11 company paid holidays\n40 hours paid sick time\nPaid Parental Leave and Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $89,000.00 - 149,200.00 USD Annual Annual in New York and New Jersey. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
