Come bea part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Onsite role based out of our Richmond Service Center\nWhat you will do:\nWork with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (Startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance)\n\nHandles customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource\n\nTracking of time and attendance for technicians\n\nCoordinates job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed\n\nInvoices and bills customers\n\nAssist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follows up with customer to ensure that payment has been received\n\nCoordinates warranty administration process, parts orders, and tracks shipments\n\nAnswers telephones and greets customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contact\n\nAssist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, completes employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensures that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day of employment\n\nMaintain OSHA logs\n\nEnters all information and maintains information into Enterprise Resource System. This includes work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes\n\nEnsures timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job\n\nResponsible for gathering local prevailing wage rate and completing sending hours worked by Technicians on those PW jobs to Human Resources\n\nMaintains filing for and office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)\n\nProvide initial notification of Workers Compensation claims to insurance carrier\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n5+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field\n\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience\n\nExperience working with HVAC Controls Technicians is a plus\n\nExperience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software\n\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\n\nBenefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance\n\n401K retirement plan with employer match\n\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\n\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\n\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\n\nThe typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $23.65 - $37.68 in Virginia.
