They will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control by performing the following duties.\nLocation: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid\nYour Responsibilities:\nAnalyze, understand and interpret financial & transactional data supporting monthly journal entries; make recommendations when/where necessary\n\nMonth end financial close activities; including necessary accrual entries, account reconciliations, supporting analysis, etc.\n\nAnalyze variances to plan or forecast, understand drivers and trends.\n\nAssist in development and preparation of regular management reporting\n\nClosely work with the Sr Controller and other finance team members to ensure the data entering the ERP is accurate and secure.\n\nResponsible for assisting in internal and external audit requests and compliance with internal controls.\n\nSupport the annual planning process\n\nActively supports the ERP and other financial systems maintenance, upgrades, integrations etc. Assures software modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation to the live environment.\n\nDevelops and documents workflow processes to create efficiency in the operation of financial systems.\n\nAssists in maintaining the chart of accounts for USGAAP and Japanese GAAP in Oracle.\n\nAssessing current account operations, offering solutions for improvements, and implementing new process improvements\n\nMaintains financial policies and procedures.\n\nYour Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\n\n3-5 years experience in accounting/finance or a related field\n\nExperience with Oracle or similar ERP systems\n\nActively supports the ERP and other financial systeof ms maintenance, upgrades, integrations etc. Assures software modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation to the live environment.\n\nDevelops and documents workflow processes to create efficiency in the operation of financial systems.\n\nAssists in maintaining the chart of accounts for USGAAP and Japanese GAAP in Oracle.\n\nAssessing current account operations, offering solutions for improvements, and implementing new process improvements\n\nMaintains financial policies and procedures.\n\nYour Benefits:\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance\n\n401K retirement plan with employer match\n\nPaid time off and company-paid holidays\n\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\n\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service\n\nWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position\nThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $136,800 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
