The Supply Chain Analyst II will be a part of the Supply Chain Value Management (SCVM) organization. The position plays a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, process improvement efforts, data analysis, reporting, and program execution across Supply Chain programs. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!\nLocation: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN\nWhat you will do:\nPrimary responsibilities will support one or more of the Five Categories of SCVM by enhancing or developing processes in the Sourcing Operations, Operational Capability, Supplier Compliance & Sustainability, Financial Integration, and Data Systems Enablement categories, including M&A integration activities\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and integration stakeholders to provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and business integrations.\nAnalyze business processes, supplier performance metrics, operational data, and market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, value creation, and risk mitigation.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, process documentation, standard work, performance metrics, and business insights that support informed decision-making, strategic objectives, and integration progress tracking.\nSupport sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier assessments, RFQ development, bid analysis, supplier selection, contract administration, implementation activities, and supplier integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.\nLead stakeholder workshops, training, and collaboration sessions.\nEstablish and maintain collaborative and constructive relationships with suppliers, functional managers, and supply chain leadership to understand current and future business needs and continuous improvement opportunities.\nSupport initiatives related to supplier performance management, supplier development, contract lifecycle management, risk management, and market intelligence.\nOther Duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Economics. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered\n2 + years of experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing\nProficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as well as Fluid\nExperience analyzing data, developing reports, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.\nWork visa sponsorship of any kind is not available for this position\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Operations\n3+ Years of Supply Chain experience\nExperience supporting mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, system implementations, or large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives.\nDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance \n401K retirement plan with employer match\nPaid time off and company paid holidays\nPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law\nTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service \nThe range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls is $66,000.00 - $108,800 in Minnesota. Typical pay range is $85,000 to $93,000 per year. Individual pay rate will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
