This role collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver accurate and high-quality controls solutions.\nWhy work with us?\nBenefits are effective on day one for all full-time direct hires.\nTraining programs are available to help guide team members and develop new skills.\nGrowth Opportunities - there are immense opportunities to grow your career.\nYou will be part of a Global Company - our family brands are backed by Daikin Industries, Ltd. \nPosition Responsibilities may include:\nDesigning system based on bid proposals and design documents and specifications\nTimely execution of CAD drawings\nMake system design decisions to improve function and performance while keeping within job budget\nResearch and select products required for a complete and operational system\nSolicit bids from suppliers for job components and assess bids based on job needs and budget\nEngage and communicate with the project team to understand project scope, requirements and schedule\nEngage with customers and provide the best customer experience\nMaintain design documentation for all projects assigned to you\nParticipate in training meetings\nParticipate in job meetings as required\nFollow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies\nWork under direction of senior control design engineer\nPerform additional tasks as required\nNature & Scope:\nApplies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education\nand work experience\nManages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervisions\nCoaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals\nProblems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective existing solutions\nKnowledge & Skills:\nStrong design software skills (AutoCAD, MS Office primarily Word and Excel)\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD with the ability to create, interpret, and update detailed controls design drawings and technical documentation.\nAccuracy with numbers and details\nWilling to travel for training and projects as needed\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications\nMust have good written and oral communication skills\nExperience in construction, primarily Temperature Controls, HVAC or Electrical fields\nExperience: Minimum 5 years in building controls/automation systems design\nEducation/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
