This role will interact with advanced thermal and mechanical engineers, will understand key operating principles of of electro-mechanical systems and will develop advanced and smart control mechanism.\nPosition Responsibilities May Include:\nTechnical:\nDevelop firmware for consumer appliances and Smart Home devices - Air Handler, Furnace, Thermostat, Smart Home devices, wired and wireless sensors, IoT Edge devices \nDevelop embedded C code based on complex flow chart, state diagram to control electromechanical system \nDevelop firmware stack for RS-485 based communication \nDevelop software architecture, Hardware Abstraction, and reusable software components \nPerform detailed bench and lab testing of firmware \nAnalyze system requirements and translate them into firmware specifications \nCollaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and hardware components \nDebug and troubleshoot firmware issues using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers\nOther:\nInterface well with other teams to perform root cause analysis and develop solutions to production problems. \nCoordinate with production engineering and maintenance teams to lead equipment repairs and projects. \nPerform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs. \nNature & Scope:\nApplies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience \nEncouraged to seek continuous improvements \nPerforms a range of mostly straightforward assignments \nWorks independently with general supervision \nProblems faced are difficult but not typically complex \nKnowledge & Skills:\nTechnical:\nProgramming Language for Embedded Systems (E.g.
