Lead and support RCA, major breakdown analysis, reliability investigations \nLeads activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment \nSupports and executes plant-specific maintenance strategies to achieve Plant's key performance goals for overall maintenance performance \nAssures production schedules are met and all issues are resolved and communicated in a timely fashion. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards \nReviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities \nHelp manage department Fiix system, including PMs, PM audits, equipment, purchase orders, work order, work order histories, and employee time \nPerform duties as plant SME, Safety Management Expert, for Hot Works Program, Fall Protection Program and Confined Space Program \nDrives a Safety Culture. Helps lead the plant’s safety first culture. Follows a “Never Walk By” safety policy \nSupport Daikin’s OPM/Lean continuous improvement and Autonomous Maintenance programs \nLead, oversee, and delegate work orders and any maintenance projects that arise \nPerform preventative maintenance (PM) activities \nInstall, service, repair, inspect, and program all electrical, programmable, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment \nOrder parts and supplies as needed \nRespond to emergency calls on all shifts \nReport any injury, unsafe act or condition, equipment failure, or potential failure \nTrain and provide direction to employees within the department \nPerform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs \nNature & Scope:\nAble to follow supervisor’s general written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks \nProvides direction to maintenance technicians \nResolves routine questions and problems, coordinates complex issues to others \nDemonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly \nKnowledge & Skills\nSafe work habits, following proper LOTO and other OSHA requirements \n“Advanced” skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair (At minimum Technician Level 2 skills in mechanical and electrical) \nMust have own maintenance tools, including 480-volt and 3-phase electric voltmeter, and able to use \nAble to effectively and efficiently use various maintenance tools and equipment \nAbility to work with electrical circuits including 24-volt controls, 120-240 volt, single- and three-phase service \nCapable of using programmable logic controllers to troubleshoot and repair equipment \nAbility to work under pressure and ability to synthesize complex or diverse information \nMust be able to read and understand written and verbal policy, instruction and directions in, English \nBasic ability to use Windows based computer systems \nWorking knowledge of PLC, I/O Logic, AC/DC drives \nMust have experience the use of computer systems, excel, word, outlook \nMust have experience using a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) \nTrain team members \nLead project teams \nAbility to apply good judgment, strong work ethics, and integrity on the job \nCompetency:\nExperience:\n7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance \n5 years of experience with DC drives, servos, solenoids, photo eyes, relays, limit switches, and electric motors \n7 years of experience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems \nEducation/Certification:\nHigh school diploma or GED \nAssociate’s degree in electrical or mechanical field or graduation from a trade school, any certifications are preferred but not mandatory \nPeople Management: No\nPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:\nMust be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations \nReports To:\nMaintenance Supervisor and Manager \nQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
