Follows safety policies, housekeeping, company policies, and work instructions.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nLift, load, hang, and/or transfer parts and products repetitively while ensuring and maintaining safe work practices \nAssemble/install materials, parts, and equipment on assembly lines or designated workstations accurately and thoroughly to approved specifications \nPotential tasks may include, but are not limited to: Shooting screws, putting lids on boxes, scanning inventory, installing wires, compressors, tops, panels, and other general assembly tasks \nMay operate machines to form, fabricate, paint, and assemble parts \nEnsure all parts and materials used match the bill of material \nIdentify and eliminate scrap and additional costs using zero-defect methods \nWork in a safe manner following the safety policies, housekeeping, and environmental policies and work instructions \nInform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem \nEnsure work is meeting quality standards \nConserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste \nAlways wear and use required personal protective equipment \nMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow and comply with all safety and health regulation \nNature & Scope:\nTakes direction from lead and works within well-defined instructions while meeting established objectives \nKnowledge & Skills:\nAbility to perform duties while working safely, efficiently, and timely; ensuring high-quality work meets production requirements and company standards with limited supervision \nMechanical/Machinery skills are a plus \nAbility to safely operate air and hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, and screw guns \nAbility to safely operate machines and equipment \nAttention to detail and basic math/counting skills \nAbility to interpret and follow work instructions including all safety policies \nAbility to pass in-house training program (including safety & skills training and on-the-job training) \nGood verbal & written communication skills \nAbility to get along well, communicate timely and accurately with co-workers, supervisors and team leads \nAbility to perform physical labor and repetitive movement and have good hand-eye coordination\nPhysical stamina and strength required; transferring, loading, unloading, and lifting parts for long periods \nAbility to stand for long periods of time; 8-10 hours a day \nAbility to work flexible schedules including hours and days as needed\nCompetency:\nExperience:\nEntry level, previous manufacturing/machine operations experience is a plus \nEducation/Certification:\nHigh school diploma or GED \nPeople Management: No\nPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:\nReports To:\nDepartment Supervisor or Manager \nQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
