The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers. The warehouse associate is accountable for the movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance while ensuring to meet all safety protocols.\nWhy work with us?\nBenefits are effective on day one for all full-time direct hires\nTraining programs are available to help guide team members and develop new skills\nGrowth Opportunities - there is immense opportunities to grow your career\nYou will be part of a Global Company - our family brands are backed by Daikin Industries, Ltd.\nResponsibilities may include:\nSafely and efficiently operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks.\nEnsure all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations.\nMaintain Inventory and Prepare Cycle Counts\nComplete Will Calls\nResponsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entries\nProper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shift.\nMaintain warehouse and forklift by following good housekeeping and safety procedures including pre and post shift forklift inspections. Alert the manager of any concerns immediately.\nAssist Customers and CSRs as needed.\nFollow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies.\nPerform additional tasks as required\nNature and Scope:\nTakes direction from lead/Supervisor.\nWorks within well-defined instructions.\nKnowledge & Skills:\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nHigh level of attention to detail and surroundings\nBasic Computer skills include data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders.\nAbility to successfully process (ex. Loading and Unloading) products.\nAbility to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse.\nAbility to pass Prove It and driving test.\nMust be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nHigh level of attention to detail and surroundings\nBasic Computer skills include data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders.\nAbility to understand and follow work instructions, policies, and procedures.\nBe dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customers.\nAbility to work in warehouse that is not climate controlled\nExperience:\n1 plus years of warehouse / logistics experience\n1 plus years industrial forklift experience strongly preferred\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or GED\nMust have Valid driver’s license\nPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:\nMust be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. \nPass pre-employment physical. \nQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
