Experience with Generative AI and frameworks such as Django or Flask will be an added advantage.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.\n\n- Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.\n\n- Develop asynchronous applications using async/await and Python async I/O.\n\n- Design robust API contracts, request/response models, and validation using Pydantic.\n\n- Implement authentication, authorization, error handling, logging, and API security best practices.\n\n- Integrate backend services with relational databases such as MySQL and write optimized SQL queries.\n\n- Work with data processing and analytical libraries such as Pandas and NumPy where required.\n\n- Develop modular, maintainable, and reusable code following clean coding and software engineering practices.\n\n- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment across cloud environments.\n\n- Work with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services for application deployment and infrastructure integration.\n\n- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\n- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective fixes.\n\n- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n- Stay updated with emerging technologies, particularly Generative AI and modern Python backend frameworks.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\n- 4-8 years of professional experience in backend development using Python.\n\n- 2+ years of hands-on production experience with FastAPI.\n\n- Strong understanding of REST API design principles and API development.\n\n- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and async I/O in Python.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Pydantic for data validation and schema management.\n\n- Strong programming and problem-solving skills in Python.\n\n- Experience with SQL and MySQL or other relational databases.\n\n- Good understanding of Docker and containerized application development.\n\n- Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.\n\n- Familiarity with Django and/or Flask is preferred.\n\n- Experience with Pandas and NumPy is an advantage.\n\n- Exposure to Generative AI applications or integrations is a plus.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\n- Generative AI\n\n- FastAPI\n\n- Python\n\n- REST APIs\n\n- Async I/O / Async Programming\n\n- Pydantic\n\n- Django / Flask\n\n- Docker\n\n- MySQL / SQL\n\n- Pandas / NumPy\n\n- AWS / Microsoft Azure\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Python Backend Developer who has strong production experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and Pydantic, along with exposure to cloud platforms and containerization.
