This senior editorial role combines gatekeeping accuracy, leading long-form storytelling, and driving impactful investigative projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the checkpoint desk, ensuring all stories meet standards of accuracy, fairness, balance, and clarity.\n\nSupervise and mentor checkpoint editors, reporters, and producers to deliver top-quality content across platforms.\n\nOversee planning, production, and editorial direction of documentaries and special investigative projects.\n\nIdentify, assign, and guide in-depth stories that expose wrongdoing, highlight systemic issues and serve public interest.\n\nEnsure investigative and documentary content is legally sound, ethically produced, and factually watertight.\n\nCollaborate with newsroom leadership to set editorial priorities and digital-first publishing strategies.\n\nBuild partnerships and secure resources for investigative and documentary journalism.\n\nMentor and train staff in investigative techniques, documentary storytelling, and digital verification tools.\n\nQualifications & Skills Required:\nMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Political Science, or related field.
