Learn more at DailyPay's Press Center.\nThe Role:\nThe Manager - Accounting is a leader of the core accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of DailyPay’s financial statements. Alongside Corporate Accounting leadership, you will establish operational objectives for the accounting team, orchestrate the month-end close process, and manage critical relationships both inside & outside of DailyPay. By driving process improvements and ensuring GAAP compliance, you provide the financial foundation that supports DailyPay’s strategic growth and operational excellence.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nCorporate Accounting Integration: Embed into the Company’s Corporate Accounting function, establishing and maintaining an understanding of the associated accounting business processes.\n\nLead Financial Reporting: As part of Corporate Accounting leadership, you will be a leader of the global month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring all reporting is delivered accurately and in accordance with US GAAP.\n\nEstablish Operational Objectives: Define and execute departmental goals that improve financial accuracy, shorten the close cycle, and enhance overall reporting transparency.\n\nDrive Process Automation: Identify and implement system optimizations within NetSuite and other fintech stacks to automate manual workflows and scale with the business.\n\nStrengthen Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance the internal control environment (SOX-readiness), ensuring all financial activities are documented and compliant with company policies.\n\nTeam Leadership & Mentorship: Manage a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, professional development, and technical excellence.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure the accurate accounting treatment of new product launches and complex business transactions.\n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\n6+ Years of Experience: Progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in a high-growth fintech, SaaS, or \"Big 4\" public accounting environment.\n\nAnalytical Skills: Equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a razor-sharp attention to detail.\n\nERP Mastery: Advanced proficiency with NetSuite and reconciliation software (e.g., Numeric), with a track record of driving large-scale system implementations or optimizations.\n\nStrategic Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex financial challenges and establish long-term work plans that align with broader organizational goals.\n\nStrong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an exceptional ability to articulate complex financial results and technical accounting issues to non-financial stakeholders and executive leadership.\n\nCPA Certification: Active CPA license is preferred.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nExceptional health, vision, and dental care\n\nOpportunity for equity ownership\n\nLife and AD&D, short- and long-term disability\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nEmployee Resource Groups\n\nFun company outings and events\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\n401K with company match\n\nHigh-performing cultures aren't built in silos, they thrive on partnership.
