Learn more at DailyPay's Press Center.\nThe Role:\nThe Senior Accountant will play a key role within DailyPay’s Accounting team, working across the broader organization to support the Director of Accounting and senior management. This individual prepares critical financial documentation, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives process improvements to enhance the month-end close. As a dynamic leader, the Senior Accountant mentors junior team members and builds cross-functional relationships to support the company’s mission of transforming the way people get paid.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses as a part of the month-end close process.\n\nCompliance Management: Ensure all financial activities remain in compliance with US GAAP standards and Sarbanes-Oxley.\n\nAudit Support: Work with internal and external audit teams to provide necessary support and reviews in a timely manner.\n\nProcess Improvement: Identify, propose, and drive efficiency improvements for the month-end close and other accounting processes.\n\nRelationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships both within the Finance team and cross-functionally.\n\nTeam Mentorship: Provide ongoing mentorship and professional guidance to junior team members.\n\nFilings & Statements: Manage the preparation and reviewing of financial statements and other corporate filings.\n\nAd Hoc Projects: Perform specialized assignments and support the broader organization on an as-needed basis.\n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\nExperience: 4+ years of professional Accounting experience.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or finance (advanced degree a plus).\n\nCertification: Relevant professional qualifications, such as a CPA.\n\nOwnership: An ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability and the ability to work independently.\n\nCommunication: Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively within a team.\n\nProject Management: Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nExceptional health, vision, and dental care\n\nOpportunity for equity ownership\n\nLife and AD&D, short- and long-term disability\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nEmployee Resource Groups\n\nFun company outings and events\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\n401K with company match\n\nHigh-performing cultures aren't built in silos, they thrive on partnership.
