As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with our public sector clients and project teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet our clients’ requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with clients to understand their software engineering needs and objectives\nDesign, develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions using industry best practices and coding standards\nUtilise your expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to architect robust and scalable systems\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to gather project requirements, analyse feasibility, and provide technical recommendations\nDevelop secure, clean, efficient, and well documented code, ensuring code quality through testing, debugging, and code reviews\nStay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in software engineering and share your knowledge with the team\nCollaborate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery within the defined timelines and budget\nAccurately delivering high quality work to agreed timelines, including taking the initiative and knowing how to jump straight in\nSupporting client engagements, including pitches and presentations\nHelping to support & grow Daintta by actively inputting into the company strategy and helping to shape our future\nRepresenting us and our core values: Transparent, Fair and Daring\nSkills/Knowledge\nThe role requires the following key skills / knowledge, non-exhaustively:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field\nProfessional experience as software engineer, preferably in a consultancy or industry setting\nExperience with multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, C++, Rust, or Go\nExperience with associated software development frameworks and tools such as pytest and OpenAPI\nExperience working in Unix/Linux environments\nKnowledge of database systems and proficiency in database query languages/tools\nFamiliarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
