In addition to being rewarded fairly for your contribution to the business, you get to work in a dynamic organisationthat is agile and responsive: a business that is growing fast and where you get to drive and shape the future, a place where you are respected by everyone and your voice is important, and somewhere you can be innovative and creative.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility\nFacilitate workshops and meetings such as risk analysis, pre-mortems, technical design workshops, requirements elicitation\nDesign and plan the whole lifecycle approach for complex projects and programmes\nTrain and advise clients in System Engineering best practice\nOrganise and coordinate internal technical resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects including delivery assurance and integration\nOversee the effective delivery of projects, ensuring they remain within scope and budget with managed risk\nDelivery and management of System Engineering documentation, such as SEMPs\nCreation and maintenance of System Engineering artefacts such as system models, plans, requirements, integration logic, test methodologies, etc.\nManage changes in project scope, schedule and costs with the help of appropriate verification techniques\nPrepare reports and present them to senior management as needed\nMaintain strong relations with the client and all stakeholders\nAnalyse and manage risks to minimise negative effect on a project\nBuild and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors\nPrepare and review comprehensive project documentation\nSkills/Knowledge\nThe role requires the following key skills / knowledge, non-exhaustively:\nDegree level educated or equivalent experience\nStrong technical ability and acumen to deep-dive into technical subject matter where appropriate.\nExperience of working as a System Engineer within software, networking, digital or cyber security \nExperience of working in a Consultancy, large Systems Integrator or public sector organisation delivering complex products and services\nExperience desirable in delivering projects as a System Engineer to defence, government, national security or law enforcement organisations\nStrong understanding of System Engineering tools, standards, techniques and methodologies including: delivery lifecycles including V-model, spiral and agile, technical risk management, trading of technical options vs risk, cost & capability, requirements elicitation and management, modelling techniques, delivery assurance, IV&V, etc.\nExcellent client-facing and internal communication skills\nOutstanding organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nSystem Engineering accreditation or relevant project management qualifications will be considered\nBenefits\nWe believe in supporting our people both professionally and personally.
