At this time, we are able to hire within the U.S., United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal.\nAbout the Role\nIn the Senior Software Engineer, Payments role at Dakota, you'll join our core engineering team, designing and implementing the robust back-end infrastructure that fuels our blockchain-integrated banking platform. From day one, you'll tackle high-visibility projects that directly impact our financial products and customer experience, focused on payment processing and operations as we build the next generation of financial infrastructure.\nTech Stack\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) as our primary cloud infrastructure provider\n\nKubernetes for orchestrating our containerized microservices\n\nGolang for most of our backend services and infrastructure tools\n\nTypeScript for our front-end applications, deployed via Vercel\n\nPostgreSQL & TimescaleDB for data management and financial transaction history\n\nBuildkite for CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation\n\nGitHub for version control and collaboration\n\nSentry for error tracking and Incident.io for incident management\n\nRequirements\n5+ years experience in software engineering\n\nStrong grasp of Golang\n\nAbility to own and drive engineering projects\n\nExtreme proactivity in identifying and fixing issues in the product and codebase\n\nExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex system issues\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams\n\nLocated in the US, UK, Spain or Portugal\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nConceptually familiar with financial systems, specifically payment processing\n\nProfessional experience or strong interest in systems programming esp.
