The role also provides support for university systems to help ensure efficient operations and a strong experience across digital platforms.\n\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain custom content management systems components and UI functionality\nSupport SharePoint administration, intranet site development and maintenance\nDesign, create and maintain websites and web applications\nWrite various code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# etc\nImplement responsive design for various platforms, devices and screens and integrate design assets\nBuild server side logic and functionality\nCreate APIs for data exchange between front and back end systems\nOptimize websites and applications for speed, performance and accessibility\nUtilize version control and code changes and updates\nImplement security practices to protect digital assets\nCreate forms and workflows within Microsoft Power Platforms\nReview forms and documents for accessibility\nAssist with systems administration support, maintenance, and technical documentation for existing systems\n\nSkills\nFoundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nUnderstanding of general programming and software development concepts\nFamiliarity with relational databases and SQL\nBasic knowledge of version control software\nAbility to troubleshoot and debug applications\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to learn new technologies and development platforms\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical users\nAbility to document technical processes and solutions\nUnderstanding of responsive and accessible web design principles\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position\n\nBenefits\nFlexible benefits package – health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, hospital indemnity insurance, flexible spending account, health savings account, health reimbursement account.\nSouth Dakota Retirement System.
