Help shape the next generation of development at Dalux.\n\n**Dalux is growing, and we are looking for experienced software developers who want significant technical ownership while continuing to build software hands-on.\n\nYou will work on products used by professionals around the world, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, and help us improve how we develop software – including how we use agentic AI to make capable developers more effective.\n\n**Your role\n\n**As an Experienced Software Developer, you will take ownership of complex product and technical problems from idea to production.\n\nYou will work in a product team with other developers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer. We expect experienced developers to contribute beyond their individual tasks by making good technical decisions, improving our architecture and development practices, and sharing knowledge with others.\n\nYour work can include:\n\nOwning complex features and technical problems end-to-end\n\nDesigning scalable, maintainable solutions and contributing to architectural decisions\n\nImproving our codebase, tooling, developer workflows, and technical quality\n\nDriving or contributing to initiatives around DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, architecture, or developer tooling\n\nSparring with and mentoring other developers\n\nWorking closely with Product Management and Design to understand problems and find the right solutions\n\nBringing new ideas and technologies into Dalux when they can improve our products or how we build them\n\nWe expect experienced developers to have opinions, challenge existing solutions, and be comfortable having their own ideas challenged in return.\n\n**Developing software with agentic AI\n\n**We are significantly increasing our use of agentic AI in software development.\n\nWe use and explore AI across the development lifecycle – from understanding problems and navigating codebases to implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, and review.\n\nWe are looking for developers who already use agentic AI as part of their development workflow. The specific tools matter less than how you use them: providing the right context and direction, critically evaluating the output, and knowing when to intervene or take a different approach.\n\nStrong engineering fundamentals remain essential. AI can increase what a capable developer can achieve, but you remain responsible for the architecture, correctness, maintainability, and quality of the software you build.\n\nAt Dalux, you will help us take these ways of working further by experimenting, sharing what works, and helping establish effective practices for agentic software development.\n\n**Technologies we work with\n\n**Our platform is built on a distributed cloud architecture using AWS. Our primary technologies include:\n\nC# / .NET\n\nAngular / TypeScript\n\nGitHub Copilot\n\nMSSQL\n\nElasticsearch\n\nAWS\n\nOptionally, Android / iOS development using .NET MAUI\n\nYou may also encounter parts of our C++ codebase.\n\nExperience with our exact technology stack is useful, but strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to understand and improve complex systems matter more.\n\n**Product development at Dalux\n\n**Our developers do more than implement specifications.\n\nDevelopers, Product Managers, and Product Designers work together to understand problems and find solutions that balance user value, usability, technical feasibility, business viability, and long-term technical health.\n\nOur products are relied upon by professionals worldwide, making performance, stability, maintainability, and quality important parts of everyday engineering.\n\n**Your background\n\n**We expect that you:\n\nHave solid professional software development experience\n\nHave at least six months of practical experience using agentic AI as part of your software development workflow\n\nHold a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field\n\nHave strong software engineering fundamentals\n\nAre comfortable owning complex technical problems and decisions\n\nCan navigate and improve an established codebase and architecture\n\nCare about maintainability, reliability, performance, and quality\n\nEnjoy technical sparring and sharing knowledge with other developers\n\nUnderstand the trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term technical quality\n\nExperience with C#/.NET, Angular, or cloud development is useful, but we do not expect you to match every technology we use.\n\n**What You Can Expect From Dalux\n\n**Dalux is a software company at heart.
