Responsibilities\nElectrical Design & Engineering\nReview and develop electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for data center facilities.\nDesign and review electrical power distribution systems, including MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, busduct/busway, panels, and distribution boards.\nReview sizing and selection of cables, circuit breakers, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and other electrical equipment.\nPerform electrical load calculations, short-circuit studies, voltage-drop calculations, and protection coordination studies.\nReview single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and electrical schedules.\nEnsure electrical designs comply with applicable international and local codes and standards.\nCritical Power Systems\nProvide engineering support for UPS, battery systems, standby generators, ATS/STS, switchgear, and critical power distribution.\nSupport electrical redundancy and resiliency requirements such as N+1, 2N, and distributed-redundant configurations.\nReview power availability and capacity requirements for IT loads and mechanical systems.\nSupport testing and verification of electrical systems under normal, emergency, and failure conditions.\nConstruction & Installation\nMonitor electrical installation activities and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.\nInspect installation of MV/LV equipment, cables, containment, grounding, lighting, and electrical distribution systems.\nCoordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and other MEP disciplines.\nReview material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, technical submittals, and method statements.\nIdentify and resolve technical issues during construction.\nTesting & Commissioning\nSupport pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.\nReview and witness FAT, SAT, pre-functional testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testing (IST).\nParticipate in generator, UPS, switchgear, protection, ATS/STS, and emergency-power testing.\nVerify electrical system performance under simulated failure and transfer scenarios.\nReview commissioning documentation, test reports, and punch lists.\nOperations & Maintenance\nSupport preventive and corrective maintenance activities for critical electrical infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot electrical faults and equipment failures.\nAnalyze electrical incidents and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.\nReview maintenance procedures, switching procedures, emergency operating procedures, and standard operating procedures.\nMaintain accurate electrical documentation, equipment records, and as-built drawings.\nSupport electrical capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with electrical safety requirements, applicable regulations, and company procedures.\nParticipate in electrical safety programs, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes.\nSupport safe isolation, switching, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and energization activities.\nEnsure electrical works are executed in accordance with approved risk assessments and method statements.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.\n[3-8+] years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial facilities, or large commercial projects.\nStrong understanding of electrical power distribution and critical power systems.\nExperience with MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, ATS/STS, protection systems, and grounding.\nKnowledge of electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting SLDs, electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and technical specifications.\nFamiliarity with relevant electrical codes and standards such as IEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local authority requirements.\nExperience coordinating with contractors, consultants, equipment manufacturers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nData center experience with Tier III/Tier IV or equivalent mission-critical facilities.\nExperience with commissioning and integrated systems testing.\nKnowledge of data center electrical redundancy and resiliency concepts such as N+1, 2N, and 2N+1.\nExperience with electrical power monitoring and BMS/EPMS systems.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.\nExperience with ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, EasyPower, or similar electrical engineering software.\nProfessional engineering certification or local engineering registration, where applicable.\nRelevant data center or mission-critical facility certifications are an
