We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Coordinator Maintenance.\nTHE ROLE\nThe Coordinator Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of yard facilities by developing, implementing, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance plans. Acting as the central point of coordination, the Coordinator Maintenance aligns resources, monitors progress, and resolves operational issues to minimize downtime.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nPrepare and review maintenance plans, technical inputs, and schedules, aligning activities with project priorities and operational constraints.\nPlan and allocate workforce, equipment, and resources across maintenance projects to meet schedules and optimize capacity.\nCoordinate daily operations between departments, ensuring efficient sequencing of work and resolving bottlenecks.\nLead and supervise foremen and teams, including performance management, and workforce development.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.\nManage departmental budgets, tools, and equipment, ensuring cost control and continuity of operations.\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying risks, advising stakeholders, and implementing process and performance enhancements.\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related area.\nMinimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in ship repair.\nExcellent critical thinking, strong organizational and planning skills and problem-solving skills.\nProficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu is an advantage.\nAPPLY NOW\nJoin our dynamic team and be part of a company that values creativity, growth, and innovation.
