Our vessels are produced at our yards in Hoang Dong commune, Thuy Nguyen, Vietnam as well as in other countries such as Singapore, China, Turkey and The Netherlands.\nThe role\nCommissioning hydraulic systems for towing winches and specific deck equipment on board of ships to ensure that they meet the required specifications when supplied to the client.\nKey accountabilities\nAs a Hydraulic Engineer, your tasks are the following:\nHydraulics commissioning\n- Inspection of correct installation of hydraulic piping systems and components following system diagrams;\n- Set up and operate pressure devices such as valves, pumps, etc., in a hydraulic system;\n- Analyze the performance of hydraulic system on board;\n- Participate during sea trials for final adjustments of hydraulic system operating the towing winch and other deck equipment.\nCommissioning reporting\n- Ensure a timely and correct completion of the reports for adjustments in hydraulic system and present to Class/Client where applicable.\nProduction supporting\n- Where needed, support other workshops such as Piping or QC in area of hydraulic piping installation or flushing of the systems.\nMaintenance of stock vessel\n- Follow maintenance plan of stock vessels in area of Winch/Hydraulics;\n- Solve issues may arise on board & report to the leader when necessary.\n Safety rules\n- Follow the company working regulations (including quality, safety, and environment rules) when working with high pressure hydraulic systems.\nSkills & experience\nTo be successful in this role you bring:\nEducation\n- University background, majoring in Technical;\n- Understanding about piping systems, hydraulic hoses and tubing applications\nEnglish: good communication skill.\n Experience\n- Experienced in vessel commissioning or vessel hydraulic systems;\n- Sailing experience or operating deck equipment on board of ships.\nWhat we offer\nHere at Damen, we realize supporting and managing many talented individuals is of great essence.
