Working across modern cloud-based technologies, you'll contribute to architectural decisions, deliver high-quality code and help shape engineering best practices across the team.\nThis is an opportunity to work on products where software reliability, scalability and quality matter, supporting customers operating in highly regulated and operationally critical environments.\nResponsibilities\nLead the delivery of complex software solutions supporting aviation safety, compliance and operational decision-making workflows. \nAct as a technical leader within the squad, helping shape architecture, engineering standards and solution design decisions. \nDrive engineering quality through robust testing, code review practices and maintainable software design principles. \nSupport Product teams by translating customer needs and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions. \nMentor engineers across the team, helping improve capability, confidence and delivery performance. \nIdentify delivery risks and technical challenges early, proposing solutions that support long-term product success. \nPromote modern engineering practices, including automation, AI-assisted development and continuous improvement initiatives. \nContribute to the technical roadmap and future direction of the Aviation product portfolio. \nSkills and Experience\nStrong software engineering experience delivering commercial software products within complex or regulated environments. \nProven technical expertise in software architecture, system design and delivery of scalable applications. \nExperience solving complex technical problems and leading high-impact engineering initiatives. \nPassion for software quality, resilience, maintainability and engineering excellence. \nExperience mentoring and developing engineers within agile delivery environments. \nAbility to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, stakeholders and engineering leadership. \nExperience with AI-assisted engineering practices or a strong interest in modern development approaches. \nExcellent communication skills and a desire to build solutions that improve customer outcomes. \nAn experienced engineer with flexible mindset and ability to work across multiple technologies (e.g: Python, PHP, React, .Net, Java)\nAs a business, we place great value on collaboration, knowledge sharing and building strong relationships across our teams. Therefore, for candidates living within a 35-mile radius of Nottingham, this role will follow a hybrid working pattern, with three days per week based in our Ruddington office.
