This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the evolution of the product and the growth of a high-performing engineering team.\nResponsibilities\nLead the development of technically challenging software features that support strategic customer and business objectives. \nAct as a senior technical contributor, providing guidance on architecture, implementation approaches and engineering best practice. \nEstablish high standards of software quality through testing, refactoring and disciplined engineering practices. \nWork closely with Product teams to ensure engineering solutions align with business needs and customer requirements. \nMentor engineers and support technical capability development across the squad. \nReview technical designs and identify opportunities to improve performance, maintainability and scalability. \nContribute to engineering improvements that enhance delivery effectiveness and product quality. \nSupport adoption of modern development methodologies, automation and AI-assisted engineering solutions. \nSkills and Experience\nSignificant experience developing commercial software products within agile technology environments. \nStrong expertise in software design, architecture and engineering best practice. \nExperience leading technical initiatives and solving complex engineering challenges. \nDemonstrated ability to mentor engineers and improve technical standards within teams. \nA Full-Stack Engineer with proficiency in several of the following stacks: React, Angular, Java, .NET, Swift, Android Kotlin or Python.\nAI orchestration: leveraging AI tooling to improve productivity, code quality and delivery outcomes \nAs a business, we place great value on collaboration, knowledge sharing and building strong relationships across our teams. Therefore, for candidates living within a 35-mile radius of Nottingham, this role will follow a hybrid working pattern, with three days per week based in our Ruddington office.
