This highly configurable, workflow-driven SaaS solution supports enterprise, government, nuclear, energy, and compliance-focused organisations in managing critical operational, safety, and quality processes.\nAs a Senior Mobile Engineer, you'll help shape modern native mobile experiences across iOS, Android, or both. You'll lead the delivery of complex features, technical modernisation initiatives, and AI-assisted development practices while driving high standards across your squad.\nThis is a hands-on role focused on building new products and capabilities rather than maintaining legacy applications. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, influence key design decisions, and help ensure the quality, scalability, and performance of our mobile platform.\nResponsibilities\nLead the delivery of complex mobile features, technical migrations, and platform improvements across iOS, Android, or both.\nDrive high-quality engineering practices, including architecture, performance, security, accessibility, and maintainable code standards.\nLead the effective use of AI agents and orchestration workflows for feature delivery, testing, and problem-solving, applying sound judgement on when and how to use AI tools while sharing best practices across the team.\nBuild and enhance automated testing, CI/CD, and release processes to ensure reliable and high-performing mobile applications.\nMentor and support engineers within the squad, providing technical guidance and acting as a key reviewer for designs and specifications.\nCollaborate with engineers across teams to shape mobile standards, share best practices, and influence technical direction.\nIdentify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, processes, and platform capabilities, driving solutions from idea to implementation.\nSkills and Experience\nExperienced in native mobile development, with expertise in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit), Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose), or both.\nDeep technical knowledge of modern mobile development practices, including architecture patterns, modularisation, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.\nProven experience delivering complex mobile features, technical migrations, and solving performance, scalability, or stability challenges.\nStrong understanding of mobile security, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering best practices.\nA commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with experience building and improving automated testing frameworks.\nExperience mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.\nConfidence using AI-assisted development tools and agent orchestration workflows to deliver complex features, refactoring initiatives, and testing strategies.\nIf you're excited by the opportunity to combine expert mobile engineering with AI-assisted development and influence the future of how software is built, we'd love to hear from you!As a business, we place great value on collaboration, knowledge sharing and building strong relationships across our teams.
